Enforcement Issues

Commercial Trucks are pulled over all the time by High Patrol and DOT Enforcement Officers for everything from a missing mudflap, broken taillight, lost trailer plate, trailer leaning, speeding, improper markings, accident investigations and a host of other highway safety related occurrences.

Each of these citations will not only result in fines to the driver or in some cases to the company, but they will also reflect on the Motor Carriers DOT Safety Qualification Rating.

Should the driver decide to challenge the citation and prevail in court, the offense still remains on the Carriers DOT Safety Qualification Rating.

This can prevent the Motor Carrier from obtaining freight from some shippers who require a certain rating to be able to pull their freight.

Clearing these citations from your DOT file can be nearly impossible and most Motor Carriers are not properly trained in how to go about submitting the correct documentation to attempt to clear these infractions from their file.

The FMCSA also uses this rating to determine a company's fitness in remaining a Motor Carrier.

To many infractions can lead to suspensions, fines, and revoking your Motor Carrier Authority.
They will certainly make your company a RED FLAG when deciding which companies to Audit.

So don't be caught off guard, let DNS Distribution Solutions guide you through clearing your companies DOT Safety Rating and remaining a strong respectable choice when shippers go to choose.
